"I’m Mikael Weermets, 24 years old from Sweden. DJ/Producer."
How old were you when you got your first gig? And where was it?
"My first real club gig was when i was 18 years old at a club in Gothenburg. Was not even sure how to use the pitch on the CD properly, haha!"
Which venues have you played at and which is your favourite?
"Oh, theres so many. So many countries and so many cities so i could never pick one favourite, theres to many!"
What advice could you give to up and coming DJ's / producers wanting to get there name out there?
"Work hard everyday and dont let anyone get you down. The internet is so packed with haters these days, its freakin crazy!
The more haters you get, the bigger you are!"
Who are your main musical influences?
"It changes all the time. Daft Punk, Eric Prydz, Quincy Jones, RedOne to name a few. Also Skrillex is killing me with his productions, simply fabolous!"

"Im kind of proud of my 2nd place in the Swedish DJ-championship. Eric Prydz, Stonebridge & Axwell were others in the final."

"Loco Dice as the first act, Eric Prydz as the second and Deadmau5 as the finale!"
Any big productions to look out for?
"BIG announcement in January. Thats all i can say. Makes me jump around everytime i think about it."
How would you describe your own sound and way of producing?
"Dancy & swedish maybe? :) Im quite fast with making tracks, Sebjak calls me Speedy W! Haha!"
What tracks that you've produced would you consider your all-time favourite?
"I would say the "Alive" remix for Erick Morillo & one of my upcoming tracks that i cant really speak of right now. You´ll see soon! :) "What software do you usually use?
"I always work with Logic Pro 8. Im still afraid to go to 9 because of all the bugs!"
Imagine the world's ending tomorrow. You've got one last set to play at any club, anywhere in the world. Where are you playing and why?
"Bora Bora beach, WITHOUT a doubt. Atmosphere, sunshine, happiness!"
